I only added one bay leaf and@a half tsp. of garlic salt. I also used 1/2 a cup of whipping cream and 1/2 cup of 2% milk. The reason I didn't add all spices is because I was cooking for my 85 yr old mom who has a fairly plain palate. Next time I will use half n half and add the 2nd bay leaf plus all the garlic.
