"I've been making this for a couple years now as a thanksgiving dessert since everyone in my family thinks pumpkin pie is boring, it's awesome but the butter in the filling is completely unnecessary. Before it bakes, it's completely runny so adding the melted butter would make it take a lot longer to cook, plus give you super high cholesterol lol"
