Followed recipe exactly and WE didn't like at all. Perhaps it was the saffron. The sauce had no depth. Broth wasn't delectable.

We HATED this! I am a huge Anne Burrell fan. If I would of just left the apple cider out of the gravy, all would have been fine. The gravy was so sweet I threw it out. A dozen guests and all agreed: Too Sweet!

FABULOUS! I've made these several times. Just make sure you bake them until they are golden and crispy. I also use Frank's Sauce. I read some reviews where people were skipping steps or didn't know why certain steps were done. If you watch the video you learn that the wings are steamed to eliminate a lot of the fat that causes the oven to smo"

I really didn't think this was all that until I had my first bite and "Oh My Gosh" it was fabulous! My hubby said he really thought it was going to be a huge miss because of the white beans and he was very impressed. It will be on my regular rotation. Super easy.

To answer LPOrtiz about the 27lb bird: I would buy two small birds instead....according to Cooks Illustrated it is scientifically impossible to cook a large bird to the recommended temperature checked at the thigh without drying out the breast meat. I agree with it. Good Luck!
