Mom was born in Abruzzo. But I learned to cook from her mother - OMG that woman could cook. For thirteen kids, she had no choice. LOVE 'Extra Virgin' - favorite show now. Best show this channel has ever put on. I love to be in the kitchen - making pasta, bolognese sauce, spaghetti sauce, even a good beef tenderloin for special occasions. Also love to entertain. Moving to Denver from Illinois in a week and looking for a house with a GREAT kitchen.
