This recipe is definitely not correct. Throwing raw chicken into the crockpot for the last 30 minutes is not going to fully cook the chicken. Additionally the recipe calls for 2 tablespoons of oil but the directions never use it. Looks to me like a step was missing.

Just made this soup and my wife and I loved it. I see that the chunkiness of the onions and orzo puts some people off. Not us. I thought it made it hearty and added great flavor. My only alteration is that I'd probably use 1/2 tablespoon of salt instead of the full one. Besides that I wouldn't change a thing. "
