"This recipe was great. I added my own spin by adding chicken italian sauasge mixed with some homemade marinara (Alex G. recipe) as another layer before rolling them up. I also used low fat ricotta and added some mozzerella and garlic to the filling. Delish and I will definetly make again!""
Reviewed Shepherd's Pie
"I have made Shepherd's Pie before but wanted to try this recipe and I'm glad I did. It was really good. I used ground turkey to save some fat and worried that the turkey may be too bland but the seasonings were right on. The only thing I would do differently is to cut back on the sugar in the onions. It was a little too sweet for me."
Reviewed Old School Lasagna with Bolognese Sauce
"I have made this several times now, with fresh tomatoes and canned. This is now my go to recipe for tomato sauce. I make a double batch and use it whenever I need a tomato sauce. The bolognese is great over pasta as well. I never thought to serve the meat sauce separatly. Now I can make one dish for both meat eaters and non meat eaters. I just make extra tomato sauce and give everyone the option of which sauce they would like.
