Reviewed 1770 House Meatloaf
"This recipe is great and so is the sauce. I didn't have the roasted garlic so I sautee'd some shallots in butter first and deglazed with the broth and it was perfect (for the sauce. I only have one complaint and that is that my meatloaf was not completely cooked. I have to admit I was skeptical about baking it at 350 for 40-50min which seemed way "

Reviewed Johnny Garlic's Cedar Plank Salmon
"We splurged on the salmon fillets and the cedar planks but it was well worth it! Great recipe! I went a little easy on the jalapeno only b/c of the kids...and they loved it as well. Thanks Guy!"
Reviewed Chicken with Goat Cheese and Sun Dried Tomato
"This came out great. My husband doesn't like goat cheese so I used Boursin on his chicken. I had 2 slightly large single breasts with bone-in and I just roasted them a little longer. 45min on 375F until the thermometer was 150F internal temp of chicken, then I took them out and let them rest tented for 10min. Was excellent. I could have sworn in the TV show that Ina put a fresh basil leaf under the chicken skin as well...so I did that and it was very nice.
Reviewed Tagliarelle with Truffle Butter
"I thought this tasted very nice. I made it together with the chicken stuffed with sundried tomatoes and goat cheese and a side of broccoli. I added 1 cup of cream to about 12oz of pasta and no pasta water and it was very creamy and it stayed creamy. The chives and shaved Parmesan on top are a must.
Reviewed Gingerbread with Spiced Creme Anglaise
"This is a wonderful gingerbread cake. I did not make the Creme Anglaise but I'm sure that would be divine too! I love this cake just with plain whipped cream. I have to admit the beer sounded strange to me and the smell of the molasses 'grossed' me out a bit...but this cake is really wonderful. It's not too sweet which I love and there's butter in it instead of oil which I also think is better. Awesome!
