Nope, didn't cut it. Made it three times and it consistently tasted burnt. Not trying to slam Tyler but no, I'm giving up."

Deelish, that's all I can say!!! I've tried so many ways to cook this bitter vegetable but Ina's got it right this time with just a unique hint of bitterness which is great combined with the char it develops. I'm salivating!!!"

These little babies were awesome! Not difficult at all and so tasty. I had to split them up and seal half of them at the top because my wife likes them fried better than steamed. I also added a teaspoon of chili oil to give them a little kick."

15 minutes? I mean, come on! It takes much longer than that but putting that aside, it's fantastic. My wife raved about it for days and it's not difficult at all."

This is the most amazing recipe that consistantly turns out fantastic. I've made Emeril's same recipe as well as Julia Child's (I'm sorry Julia) and this one beats them both. Dee-lish!!!!""

I first printed Ma Mae's biscuit recipe in 1999 and recently made them again for Thanksgiving, it has to be the 500th time I've cooked them and they are fantastic!!! The only thing I do differently is to not roll them out as thin as prescribed and cut them thicker for nice, fluffy, cathead results. Excellent!!!""

Yep, this recipe rocks!!! Although I only use half the sugar she recommends, it still has so much flavor. The meaty ham hocks really are great Love them with the hot vinegar I make.""

Extremely good! I needed some way to use the ham leftovers from Thanksgiving so I substituted it for the chicken. Wow! Knocked it out of the park. I went as far as substituting the bell pepper with a poblano so that 'kicked it up a notch' but other than that, I stayed true to the recipe.""

I'm pretty disappointed actually, there was tons of prep work and the results were just mediocre. I mean I can eat it, but the wine overpowered the tomato sauce. Try again? No way!
