My Activity

Reviewed Vampire Blood Tomato Soup with Muenster Sammies

"Made the soup and sammies tonight for my family. Was highly impressed with the flavors of both. The only deviation was that I used two star anise instead of fennel seed because I didn't have it on hand. It makes a lot of soup. This would be great for grown up Halloween party."

Reviewed Mussels in White Wine

"My grocery store was out of Mussels so I used shrimp instead! The white wine sauce was very nicely seasoned. Make sure to use good white wine. Will use this recipe again and again!""

Reviewed Creamy Vinaigrette

"Loved it! Agree with other viewers to season and mix to taste. Remember you don't have to use all the dressing and can save for the next day. Pairs well with the mac and cheese.""

Reviewed Grown Up Mac and Cheese

"Absolutely Delicious! Did not have gruyere cheese available so used colby in its place, otherwise followed recipe exactly. The bacon made it so comforting and rich. Serve with a salad and wala!""

Reviewed Stuffed Poblano Chiles ("Chiles Rellenos"

"This a great recipe. I have always used a canned red sauce and this was so much better. I don't make these often because they are a pain to peel and are fragile after charrin. But don't fret because they don't have to be perfect.

Reviewed Oven-Fried Chicken

"This is a great base recipe for fried chicken! I left the chicken in the oven for only 15min. And I also salted and peppered the buttermilk. Other than that, followed the recipe to the T. I will use this easy recipe again. Thanks Ina!

Reviewed Banana Nut Muffins

"Delicious! Was looking for a way to get rid of my overiped bananas and this was it. I left them in for only 17min. My 9 y/o loved them.

Reviewed Cornmeal-Fried Onion Rings

"Yummy yummy in my tummy! Didn't have buttermilk (used milk and lemon) still tasted great! But these are grown upy onion rings so be aware that children may not care for them if they are expecting Red Robin onion rings. Atleast that was what my 9y/o said LOL. Believe it or not made this meal on a weekday because I felt inspired to cook. Ina has a way of making everything look so good.
