ABSOLUTE HANDS DOWN BEST RED PASTA SAUCE EVER!! I didn't think one existed without expensive, hard to find ingredients. I was more than sceptic. I mean thyme? And I hate red wine. But it all worked. Can't go wrong with simple, good quality ingredients. However, we do not like artichokes. So we substituted roasted red peppers and caramelized shallots. It was AWESOME! I'm considering mushrooms, spinach or zuchini. How can you go wrong with any of these:)
