Catherine, I have not made this recipe but I have made my family's many times over the years. Yes, make the shells in advance and keep them in an air tight container, The filling should be fine also in a air tight container but I will warn you to hide it since it seems to mysteriously disappear. Thanks for that. It was the exact reason I was checking reviews since I have never made any bread that required that much yeast and was concerned I would have a blow out in the oven

I just made this recipe for lunch and although the sandwich is tasty and a great way to use up the holiday left overs I thought that the arugula needed a bit of acid to balance out the flavors. Next time I will most likely use a light vinegarette on the greens and give it a bit more zip."

I recently made this after my husband watched Guy make it and since it is just we two we had alot left but not to fret, it freezes and reheats really well and probably tastes better than the first time around as with most Italian food. I am struggling to give this 1 star. The only interesting flavor was the bread crumbs which added some texture to glop. It's back to the drawing board and onto some other recipe. Don't waste your time or your ingredients."
