Reviewed Dried Cherry and Almond Biscotti

These are great. I hope to never buy biscotti again. I substituted dried cranberries for the dried cherries, hazelnuts for the almonds and orange zest for the lemon zest because that is what I had in the pantry. I also dipped some in melted chocolate and rolled the tip in crushed candy canes. They will make a nice gift.

I thought this would be an easy, "I can do this" recipe for just the 4 of us at thanksgiving dinner and it was! I used fresh rosemary instead of thyme and added 1/2 chopped fuji apple to the stuffing. Delish! I will make this again.

My guests loved this casserole and it was the first time I had ever made it. I used chantrelle mushsooms we had picked from the local forest making it extra special. I made the recipe to the tee but thought the sauce was a bit thin.
