Absolutely love this recipe. My mom is cajun, and she makes fantastic file gumbo every Thanksgiving. She doesn't use a recipe and insists that gumbo has to be made by taste. I never thought I'd be able to make a gumbo that would even come close to be as satisfying as hers. This recipe is has lots of authentic flavor, and my cajun family enjoys it....
