I love gingerbread and I love pumpkin, so I wanted to love this recipe, but the pumpkin/pudding mixture was WAY too sweet. If I were going to make this recipe again, I would probably omit the brown sugar from the mixture and maybe that would help? Great idea, though.""

After reading the reviews, I was expecting something really spectacular, but after making the recipe exactly as directed, I baked for nearly 50 min. and it still turned out runny. I guess I could have left it in for longer, but after being warned to not overbake, I wasn't sure. Anyway, even if it was gooey instead of runny, this was WAY too swe...
