My Activity

Reviewed Individual Meat Loaves

"So good! I've tried many other meatloaf recipe, and none of them are as good as this! By just using onions, the meat stays nice and moist. The tomato paste and Worcestershire sauce also keep it moist and flavorful. Absolutely delicious! Your family will be pleased! (And it makes GREAT leftovers and meatloaf sandwiches!"

Reviewed Mac and Cheese

"This is good, but there is definitely no need to get an expensive cheese like gruyere... get whatever cheese you like best and fits your budget- a good sharp cheddar works well. Also, I would cut the amount of nutmeg in half. It's a powerful spice and easily dominates the cheese... it adds a great dimension and sophisticated flavor, but you don't need that much!"

Reviewed Old-Fashioned Meat Loaf- A.K.A 'Basic' Meat Loaf

"This was definitely not the best meatloaf recipe I've ever used (Ina Garten's mini meatloaves were MUCH better...). The oats gave a strange texture which I didn't care for... I would use traditional breadcrumbs instead. Also, be careful with the mustard... a little goes a long way. Third, be sure to use meat with a high fat content. I used a 90/10 mixture and it came out dry and less flavorful. Again, this was just okay... use Ina's recipe instead."
