"Oh my gosh! What an AWESOME brunch item!! This recipe WAY exceeded my expectations! I will definitely use this one every Christmas brunch!

I requested my grocery store (who offers a large variety of breads) to bake the bread for me. They do not bake challah bread on a daily basis but will do so upon special request.
The apple halves worked great, although I thought they seemed too big initially. I went with the flow, and it came out perfectly!
