"Too sweet for my tastes! However, I loved the pears and will make again with a simple syrup that is 1 part sugar to 2 parts water. I also zested some lime into the syrup and that was really good. Next time I will also strain - the pears were a bit pulpy. "

If you look at the side of the box, particularly where it gives the calories for the mix as compared to the calories prepared as directed, the only calories you are saving are the ones from the egg, which are minimal. "Nice and clean - let's the true flavor of the shrimp shine. And, to "Chef" and all others that don't watch the news - the Gulf shrimp are not "tainted" with anything. They are tested far more carefully than any other seafood you can buy and are the best-tasting shrimp out there! Before you slam a US cottage industry - DO YOUR HOMEWORK!

Reviewed Shrimp with Cilantro Pesto

"This was wonderfully refreshing, bright, and extremely flavorful!! Loved this recipe!! Now, to address GooGoo and Robin's issues about the cost - get over it! If this is going to work as a review of RECIPES, then your rants about the COST screwed up the ratings so that others who are looking for a really good recipe might believe this one is not one of the best in this category. The premise of the show was most likely forced on her by the network - which is not her fault, but also, it IS possible, if you shop diligently to stock up on items when on sale, thus bringing down the overall cost. Doesn't take a math-whiz either.
