My Activity
Reviewed (Almost My Grandma's Rouladen
"This was my first attempt at Rouladen and is now a favorite! I will add more vegetables next time, as they were delicious! Omitted the wine and used low sodium beef broth. I am definitely making this for Sunday dinner. "
Reviewed Roasted Pork Loin with Pineapple Glaze
"Delicious! I'm not pork fan, but this was awesome! My whole family enjoyed. The only modification I made was that I substituted chicken broth for wine and dried apricots for prunes. Next time, even more liquid so I can get more sauce. yummy!
Reviewed Stuffed Pork Chops
"So good! I was nervous because I hadn't used this cooking technique with pork chops. It was delicious!!! I used dried apricots instead of prunes and accidently bought brie instead of goat cheese, but it was still delicious. I'm not a pork chop fan usually, but this is wonderful! Great job Claire, as always!
Reviewed Baked Cheese with Chorizo
"Wonderful! A great crowd pleaser! Keep it warm if you don't want it to firm up too quick.
Reviewed Bacon and Green Chile Cornbread
"My family and I enjoyed this cornbread! Another bonus- it's glutten free! Since we have wheat allergies in our family it's challenging to find recipes (like bread) that everyone can eat. I did make a few changes. First, add 1/4 cup of sugar if you like a sweeter cornbread. Second, double the bacon and add cooked onion. We omitted the chiles because we don't like them. Third, double the butter glaze and maybe add some honey to it too, YUM! Overall the taste of was right on and the fact that the whole family could eat it was wonderful! :)
Reviewed Meat Loaf
"This meatloaf is EXCELLENT! I made it to the T, except that I used glutten free breadcrumbs to accommodate my family's needs.Cooking the onions first really makes a difference in the meatloaf! I'll always make meatloaf this way again. I might add another egg next time. Although the receipe called for 2 extra large eggs, I only had large eggs, so next time I'll use 3. Great job Ina! =)
