Great soup. I used Portugese linguica instead of the chorizo (milder) and substituted lentils for garbanzo beans. Absolutely superb! You can also throw in a few carrots or peas or whatever you have leftover and it works. Great soup!"

Terrific recipe! I used it when a friend of mine broke her wrist and needed easy-to-heat-up food. Because she is a vegetarian, I used veggie stock as opposed to the beef broth and omitted the pancetta and it was still wonderful.
