Great recipe!! I didn';t use the second tablespoon of salt and also added one hot pepper and two shakes of Tabasco Sauce to the batch as it was cooking. I didn';t need to add the Tabasco! It';s right on the edge of being too hot...which is perfect!! I love the combination of hot, sweet, tangy. Thanks for posting this!!!"

It was good. I gave 4 stars because it wasn';t as bad as 3, but it needed more topping. The flavors were nice and I topped with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream. I';ll probably make it again, I';ll just increase the dry portions of the topping and keep the butter to a minimum."

I';m really sorry to only leave a 3-star review, but this was a disaster. They did not hold together at all and I followed the recipe to a ';t.'; I guess I';ll use it as topping or a granola type snack. Disappointing...."

I've made two batches now. It's excellent! I yielded 9 half-pints from each batch and I carefully weighed out the plums. It set up very nicely. The amount of sugar is perfect. My jam retained the tartness of the plums with just a hint of the sweetness from the sugar. Someone mentioned spiced jam; I think that would be nasty. This jam recipe "

The flavor of these pickles are A-1 for sure! The recipe would have received five stars, but the directions are lacking. The submitter gave no indication of yield except for 32 servings, and without a "serving size," it's hard to estimate the final yield. I roughly doubled the recipe because I had quite a few pickles come in from the garden. ...

While the instructions were crystal clear, the cooking time was much longer than the 20 minutes indicated. Further, the dish was overly sweet. I enjoy the taste of scallops and the sugar covered the scallop taste completely. It should enhance, not overpower. I will not make this particular recipe again. I will look for another one. ""
