Reviewed Roasted Chicken with Balsamic Vinaigrette

This was amazing! Definitely a staple from now on.. I did make the broth but it doesn't make or break it. Also cooked covered for the first 30, uncovered the last for a nice crisp skin. Pared it with Tyler Florence's scalloped potatoes.. Yum

Made this tonight with sharp cheddar and mixed some broccoli in. (Mom version) I tried Ina's homemade Mac and cheese last week and it was the same cheese sauce and perfect. No fail cheese sauce! Tonight I paired it with cayenne fried chicken and mashed potatoes, the cheese sauce was a nice mix beside the potatoes. I do plan on trying the gruyere but...

I have made this 3times now and I love it. I cook on stove top in milk then transfer to my deep fryer to get a nice crust. Each time I have cooked for the full 20mins and the chicken is TO done, falling off the bone so it's hard to bread. Next time I'm only cooking 17mins on stove top. I also double or even triple the cayenne.. Yum

the only reason i'm giving this recipe 4 stars is because it wasn't as easy as explained. The taste however is worth the wait...I had to double the simmer time on the stove after the oven time. I also had to add more flour, when that didn't thicken to my liking I added a little cornstarch. San Marzano's and fresh peas were also added. After I cooked...

I really liked it, double or even triple the cornstarch amount, beer cheese soup should be thicker. Also I added diced yellow onions to mine. Serve with cheese croutons or sourdough bread..it was great & easy to make.
