Reviewed Rene's Coleslaw
"This is a great alternative to the usual coleslaw and seems so healthy and light. The crunch of the almonds, tart craisins, and peppers are such a great comination. My husband loves coleslaw and I am an okay fan of it, but we both loved this recipe. Made it a second time to have with Tonys fried chicken with honey mustard sauce and this was the bigger hit with my friends than the chicken and fries! Try this out at your next barbecue or barbecue style dinner. Great alternative to a green or pasta or potato salad. It has to be less fattening than macaroni salad!
Reviewed Campanelle Pasta Salad
"I am not one to write reviews usually but always read them. I had to write a review for this recipe. This is my first Giada recipe that I have tried and to be honest, it didn't sound that great. Tuna and artichoke hearts? I read all the reviews and decided I had to give it a go. AMAZING! I used marinated artichoke hearts from Costco cause I had them instead of frozen, and used tuna in water, but everything else I followed. I also omitted the parsley cause I am nursing. So good and so quick and easy. I will definitely be making this again and adding this permanently to my recipe box. The flavor is so light and yummy. The whole dish tastes light that I have to make sure I save some for my family and don't eat it all myself. Super easy to make, super yummy to eat. Definately try it! Oh, I also used small rotini pasta cause I can't find campanelle at the store. Thank you Giada for sharing your talent with us!
