Correct advice - season as you go, taste as you season. Salt is a personal thing - but very necessary to develop the flavor.

It was good! I would definitely make some changes next time, but the overall concept was good. And I love things I can work on all day - I am really weird that way. Some changes I would do - I would use a wide bottom pan to watch the browning better on the bottom of the pan - you have to be careful not to scorch it - I got kinda close (I used my...

Did you use tomato sauce instead of tomoto paste? This is an odd result if you followed the recipe.

This review is so unhelpful. Why would you chose to even follow this recipe if you didn't have the desire to spend the time it called for?

You're comment was the first that popped up and it's EXACTLY what I needed to see! I'm at 10 minutes and it's only now starting to firm up - I was just about ready to throw it out and start over! UGH!

Outrageous! It sounded like a lot of vodka to me, but it was magic, pure magic. Will be doing this again and again!

Wow. I have never made chili before with smoked paprika and beer, and will never make it without them again! The flavors were outstanding! I did make tweeks just for our taste because are in the southwest and like it spicy! I added two jalapenos, one pablano pepper, and used a 28 ounce can of diced Rotel tomatoes (they have green chilies in them)...

These were far beyond my expectations! Absolutely delicious marinade for fish! I live in Texas and still couldn't find achiote at my Latino market, so I used adobo sauce from a can of chipotle and so it had a slightly smoky flavor, which was awesome. I also substituted Swai for the snapper because our local grocer doesn't carry snapper and I co"

Look, it's really unfair to say you hate them and she writes terrible recipies when the only ingredients are kale, olive oil and seasoning. Clearly it's the kale itself you're objecting to, which has nothing to do with the recipie. I never tried kale before, and they were okay. But the technique was perfectly fine. They were toasting and crisp"

I have been making this every year for almost 10 years now, I can't believe it has been that long since it was first posted! This is the most beautiful, festive bark, and it is positively addictive. I don't bother tempering the chocolate anymore, and no one notices the difference. Just melt the white chocolate and add the oil and mix. The temp"

I know everyone loved it, so I must have done something wrong, right? Wrong. I tried it even though salt was obviously missing. I read the review that said it's because we were using unsalted butter. No self respecting baker bakes with anything BUT unsalted butter, in fact, we don't BUY salted butter, ever. Flat. Tasted like nothing but flou"
