Really, I can hardly eat this as it is. I recommend not adding any salt until after you've processed the first ingredients and tasted it. I did not add all the salt listed in the recipe, yet the spread is still too salty for me. Also, do not add the whole cup of reserved liquid at once. just as much as needed for the thickness you want. After"
