The flavor is definitely there, but having trouble with the timing. First time, when I checked to see how the rice was doing, it had already burned a bit at the bottom. Second time overcooked it and it was very mushy. Going to try again because I love the poblano flavor, but not as easy to cook as the recipe claims - timing is an issue."

This was GREAT! Although don't expect a lot of heat from adding the chile to the simple syrup. You just get a faint taste of it at the end (we even used a whole serrano). However, we brought this to a 4th of July party and people just raved about it! It's sweet for sure, but such a great non-alcoholic option for a party. Very refreshing :)"
