Reviewed Pan Grilled Pork Chops

Followed directions exactly. Used beautiful 1" thick boneless pork chops. Cooked for 4 min each side and 8 minutes covered. Came out tough and dry. Very disappointed. Ruined some beautiful pork."

Though the meat was extremely tender, the sauce was somewhat bitter. I followed the directions in regards to the tomato paste but felt the 2-3 cups wine was too much. I added 1 3/4 cup wine and then 1 cup beef broth. I would not recommend this recipe and will continue my search for the perfect braised short rib recipe.

I just placed back on a cookie sheet (no rack) and reheated for 5 minutes at 375 degrees. Turned out great!

Made the brown sugar version for my Christmas party - they flew off the plate and I have already passed the recipe along to 2 people. Definitely a keeper!!

Just did a taste test for my family of all three combos (parm cheese, blue cheese and brown sugar). Parm cheese was very good but brown sugar had everyone's eyes rolling to the back of their head in delight! Will be making these for our annual Christmas Party - thanks Ree!!

I would love to make ahead and freeze. I'm worried they won't be crisp when they defrost and then are reheated. How was the final result after freezing?

No taste besides soy sauce. I added another clove of garlic per a suggestion but this didn';t even help. No one went back for seconds. This will be one recipe I will be throwing away."

Maybe should have used diced tomatoes instead of tomato sauce but thought this recipe (as is) was bitter and had a terrible aftertaste. Added a dash of Worchestershire Sauce, 1-2 tsp of brown sugar (to off-set the bitterness) and approx 1/2 cup sour cream (to smooth out the taste). Still not great but hope it mellows as it sits. May be calling...

Absolutely delicious! Added more mustard, used red wine as a substitute, omitted the peppers and capers. Baked the bread at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Whole family gobbled it up. Definitely a keeper! "

Only adjustment I made was to use dried sage instead of fresh as store was out. Just ok, flavor wasn't very distinctive. Not terrible but not memorable -- bland. Would not make again.""
