This isn't exactly like subways, theirs is less spicy and more creamy, but it is a good substitute. I add a little ketchup to mine (a tablespoon or two), it helps mellow out the lime/spice & makes the color of it more like subways."

these were so easy, i dont think it even took five minutes to put together. i was kind of concerned with the marshmallow layer since a few people said their marshmallow layer didnt rise to the top, but i had no trouble with it. the marshmallow layer should just 'float' on top when you add it and mix it in, you dont have to wait for it to rise up....

The negative reviews are misleading. I made this exactly as the recipe states (except I used UNsalted butter) and these were the best chocolate roll-out cookies I've ever made. They were easy to make and I had no trouble with the baking temperature or with them being "dry". There is no need to make any changes to this recipe to avoid a dry cookie...
