“My husband loves this recipe. I am not much of a meat eater, and I don't like a lot of fat in my foods, but this one is a keeper. I have made this with short ribs cut both ways and each turns out great. You can make this dish leaner by omitting the olive oil and using just the panchetta/bacon fat to brown the meat or vice versa using just the oliv"”

“Excellent! So moist, chocolate-y, frosting was not too chalky or heavy. My whole family loved it.
I used a tbsp. of the fresh brewed coffee in place of the instant and it came out great. Put the icing in the fridge while the cake (in my case cupcakes are cooling and it will be thick enough to pile a good amount on top of the cupcakes!
