Reviewed Broccoli Salad
"HELP!!! This is my all time very favorite salad in the world!!! I am having an important dinner on Sunday night and want to do as much in advance as possible so I can be there for our guests. Can this be made the day before or would it get soggy? I looked through many of the reviews but everyone ate it as soon as they made it! I have to confess.""
Reviewed Mardi Gras King Cake
"Sandra Lee is a wonderful creative "Idea Person" and I love her show!!! Today I am taking her fun idea for a King Cake and making it instead for my next Baby Shower! I will do the same thing I do when I make a cinnamon rolls with Pillsbury biscuits. I will dip each bread stick into melted butter, then roll them in blended cinnamon sugar prior to""

"Wow! I think we have some sour grapes from a Joyce lady from Ft. Lauderdale! That did offer some comic relief while I was reading the reviews! Lord, we all love Paula! Reviewed Casserole Queen Pot Pie
"I am sorry Bobby... this was a bust. I read all the reviews, took their advise and added more flour, salt, and pepper. I cooked and blanced the veggies in salted water and even added 2 teaspoons of dried chicken bouillon to the dish. But the taste was still bland, the sauce was milky, and even though I used two containers, it still bubbled over, "
Reviewed Old-Fashioned Carrot Salad
"Ina finding your recipe for Carrot Salad meant so much to me and to my family! Our Mom was a great cook but didn't always use a recipe. So I am trying to duplicate some of our family favorites wishing she could be magically alive to tell me what she used!!! Your carrot salad is just like Mother's salad and I cried when I tasted it!!! That will definitely be in our family cookbook!!! Thank you Ina... you're the BEST!!!"
Reviewed Potato Salad
"Ina's recipe for Potato Salad is PERFECTION!!! My only change was to use young red potatoes as Ina wrote in her AT HOME cookbook. The first time I prepared this was to serve with our family dinner. It was so delicious, when my daughter came by and tasted it earlier in the day, we unashamedly ate that entire potato salad for lunch and relished every single bite!!! It has now become one of our family favorites!!! Ina is a REAL cook who almost always receives 5 Star reviews. All my friends LOVE her show and I have taped it since 2003. If it is a dish by Ina, it will probably be a winner!!!"
Reviewed Rotisserie Chicken with Satay Sauce
"If you like chicken with peanut butter, you will love this dish. I have a family of "Foodies" and we love Ina. But it appears we are on another planet with fans on this recipe! We thought the skewered chicken would be fun for my grandson. My daughter, who is an excited new cook, purchased the ingredients, very carefully prepared the sauce, and was extremely discouraged. I smiled at her enthusiasm and told her in trying new dishes, we win some and lose some! My grandson took one bite and said, "All I can taste is peanut butter!" He is only 8 years old and had no idea what was included in the ingredients. So here's to all the peanut butter and chicken fans!!! Ina, tomorrow night I will make your curried chicken salad. I know our family loves that!"
