"This recipe is very good, however I fry mine in about 3Tbsp. of olive oil, not 2 cups. they come out beautiful crispy and do not fall apart. Also try topping it with broccoli rabe (steamed with garlic) or hot endive. I could live on this.""
"Recipe is great as is.....follow the advise on the roux and it will be great. Mereaux...try Cooper Sharp cheese in place of Velvetta next time. It will make it just a creamy and it's not a processed cheese product. Real cheese. Ummmm."
I love cooking. Especially home made pasta. Taught to me by my dear Italian grandmother. I love a good cooold beer. (That doesn't make me a bad person because I prefer beer to wine). Married 26 years to high school sweetheart. Have 3 children (all grown up now).
