Reviewed corn and cheese chowder

Feb 9, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

I've made this twice now. The first time as directed. The second time I did not add cheese in it. I set some aside and let people add to their own bowls. I think that took away the goop factor. It holds better too if you have leftovers. I only included one chopped red pepper and I added some diced potatoes. No bread bowl. While that is pretty...

I thought this was good. It was light and refreshing. I think it's better without the lemon myself. The bread crumbs are light and most likely won't really "brown".

This was very good. I used a crock pot and cooked it for 8 hours on low. The flavor may be different if roasted in the over vs the crock pot. I also used 1/2 of the chipotle peppers. When it was done cooking and set aside all of the onions and peppers. The meat itself was not spicy, but if you added an onion or pepper it was perfect for those"

Made this to go along with a hearty roast for Christmas Eve. Fantastic recipe and yes it does take 8 hours. Plan your day at home and keeping an eye on the stove. The mushrooms held up very well. I loved the idea of creating a cream of mushroom soup too. So decadent!"

We made both the parm and the brown sugar. Our choice for the holiday season is the Brown Sugar. However...I think it would be fun to have the parm crackers with a Cesar Salad for an elegant approach. My house smells amazing and all 24 crackers are long gone!"

This is great without the bread! Wonderful flavor and the dressing is just out of this world. Of course the bread makes it even better, but a great low carb alternative."

I loved the meatballs for sure. Great recipe that would go well with your favorite sauce. I did like the sauce, but I may have not let the bacon brown quite enough. It was fatty and weak. I would try it again, but I suppose I needed to let the bacon crisp up a bit more. ""

I've been cooking this for years now. I don't even like meatloaf, but the key is the onion mixture cooked ahead. Yummy!""

I make this every year. I cut the entire recipe by half as you only need a 1/3 cup or so per serving. We tend to have about 10-12 at our dinner every year. It's the only cranberry dressing that I will use! The dijon makes this dish hands down. I always make it the night before to let the ingredients do their magic overnight
