Reviewed Strawberry and Almond Crumble

There was far too much fat and sugar in this receipe. I reduced them by about half. The same with the almonds only used half the quanity. I loved the strawberry filling mixture but I will probably make this with an ordinary crumble topping in future. Loved the idea just needed a bit of tweeking.

Reviewed Small Pasta with Salami

Being anglo/italian I started this receipe with an onion for flavour and used panchetta cubes and added grated parmisan at the end. Great idea which can be adapted to suit all tastes. I had never used beans with pasta other than in a soup. I liked the combination and texture in a pasta sauce. It was enjoyed by all the family.

Reviewed Chocolate Fruit Cake

I made this cake a couple of Christmases ago and my family all said it was the best Christmas Cake ever. It certainly didn't last long in my house. It is more fruity than chocolatey so if you are looking for a chocolate flavour cake this is not the one. Also it is very moist and not dry like a traditional christmas cake. I definitely recommend...
