"We used a 15lb fresh turkey, kept at 500 degrees for 1 1/2 hours, then turned off the oven and left in for 6 hours. After we took out of the oven, we left covered about another 30-40 minutes (we were transporting the turkey to another location). Came out very juicy and delicious.
