My Activity

Reviewed Southern Cornbread Stuffing

"I love this recipe but like most people I have also changed it a little. I love, love, love the jiffy cornbread mix in the "dressing"(as we say in the south. It makes the preparation so much easier and the sweetness is a great combo with the sage. I definitely think the sage & poultry seasoning should NOT be optional so please use them. I left out the bread & saltines because my mom only used cornbread and I wanted to to replicate hers. Also like most reviews, I cut back on the stock and eggs and I add sliced hard boiled eggs to the mix like my mom does. I don't have an exact measurement for the stock. I say just keep adding until you get the consistency that you want.

About Me

I am married to a wonderful man who loves food as much as I do, thankfully. We do not have any children but we do have 2 boxers that I love more than life itself. I love to cook but not the "I have to come home after work every night and cook" kind of cooking. I to cook on the weekends and for entertainment reasons. I also love to cook for my boxers. I am always on the lookout for recipes that are safe for dog consumption. All in all, life is awesome!
