"What a fabulous recipe!! I didn't have any bacon so I left it out. No need for all of that grease, the flavors were wonderful without it. My son claimed it was the best thing he had eaten at my house for a long time. That could be a comment on my cooking, but I give the recipe all of the credit. When the chicken was gone, I used the broth and beans as a soup the next day. This is a must try.
