Oh, Ina! What a wonderful recipe! I made it this morning and it drained as I ran errands. I came home to the most lovely, creamy ricotta. I don't think I'll every buy it again. Thanks, again!
You will want to let it sit for about 10 minutes before straining...and I used 5 oz of vinegar. Also, read another recipe that said to bring it up...

I make this recipe every New Year's Eve. Everyone loves it and the next day, I make a yummy noodle salad with the sauce that's left over. This year, the noodle salad is making an appearance on NYE! :D No, really...that sauce is that good!

Made these last Valentine's Day for my boyfriend and he's still talking about them! I guess I have to make them again! I added dried tart cherries and in order to make them gluten free (we have both been diagnosed with Celiac disease, I will substitute almond meal for the wheat germ and use gluten-free oats.
