"Made this recipe the morning after Thanksgiving, using leftovers. Subsituted the bell pepper & potatoes for leftover roasted herbed veggies. That meant I didn't need to season the frittata with any additional herbs or salt either. It hit the spot with young an old alike. Big hit. Great base recipe to work from."
"Made the Chicken Divan. The dish itself was very tasty, but like other reviewers, I found the sauce to be much too watery after returning the chicken broth to the pan. It turned out to be more of a Chicken Divan Soup, although still yummy. Next time, I plan to add only as much broth as necessary to make a nice thick sauce."
Just an Australian-Bohemian traversing the globe with my family little by little; humbled by the beauty and destruction of Mother Nature, awestruck by human achievement and compassion throughout the ages, yet at the same time baffled by its cruelty, greed and injustice. In the midst of it all, I'm somehow able to savor every moment of every day. How blessed we are with the opportunity to experience so much, with little more than 100 years on this amazing little blue planet of ours. Carpe diem!
Pretty much everything, but garlic is a must in almost every savory dish! Love one-pot meals for the family on busy nights. Love baking all kinds of sweet treats and bread. I shy away from processed foods as much as possible, because I love cooking from scratch.
