“very rich, in a good way! Could not find yellow cake mix, so used madeira cake mix and it worked brillantly.
Had to bake it for slightly longer. Don't worry if it is still really runny, it gets less runny upon cooling. But of course, make sure it is still gooey!"”

“GREAT recipe. definitely work the time.
I made the caramel sauce first, and let it reduce whilst I did the cake. All this the night before.
The cake didnt rise as much as I thought it would. and I didnt have left overs like everyone suggested they had. But it was enough to slice both cakes into half to make a four layered cake....”
