My Activity

Reviewed Good Eats Meatloaf

"This recipe is soooo good. We make this regularly. I can't recommend it enough. I shape the meatloaf into two free form loaves in a baking dish to make them a bit smaller so they bake faster."

Reviewed Ginger, Lemon, and Lime Martini

"These could get you into trouble! Absolutely delicious. I didn't have time to make the lime ice cubes in advance, so I just added the juice of 2 limes into the rest of the ingredients. I also just stirred the cocktail instead of shaking since I didn't have a cocktail shaker on hand. I will definitely be making these often!"

Reviewed Fresh Cucumber Carrot Salad

"Loved this recipe! The acidity from the dressing really cut through the richness of the peanut sauce from the noodles in this episode and made an excellent accompaniment. I also had this recipe with pad thai and again it was a great acidic match. ""

Reviewed Sesame and Peanut Noodles

"Delicious! I used whole grain linguini instead of regular pasta and it was really good -- the peanut sauce matched really well with the whole grain flavor, which can be a bit much sometimes. I will definitely make this again.""

Reviewed Asian Marinated Pork Chops

"I felt like this recipe needed some soy sauce in the marinade. The chops just came out tasting like orange and not much else. They needed salt badly. I wouldn't make this one again. However, the other two recipes from this episode are awesome!""

Reviewed Chinese Spaghetti and Meatballs

"Very tasty! The meatballs are super delicious - I used turkey instead of pork. I also used brown rice udon noodles instead of just regular pasta. I liked them a lot as they didn't seem to get overly soggy in the leftover soup. I will definitely make this again.""

Reviewed Sweet Peach Cake

"Very tasty! I used frozen peaches (defrosted, drained and patted dry with a paper towel) since I didn't have any canned on hand. I thought that over an hour of baking time was going to be way too long, so I shorted it a bit and even though the toothpick came out clean, the cake fell in the center while cooling. Next time I will bake the full time.""

Reviewed Winter Minestrone

"Delicious! Another great Giada recipe. I like to saute the pancetta and get it brown before adding any other vegetables - otherwise the fat doesn't render and stays on the bits of pancetta. That way you also don't have to add any oil, as well. I had to leave out the parmesan since I can't eat dairy at the moment, but it was delicious without it. I""
