This recipe was fine, but they do not taste like latkes. They honestly only taste like baked potato. For all the trouble of whipping egg whites and grating and straining potatoes to make these into latkes, you might as well just bake yourself a potato and put some sour cream and chives on top.

The first time I tried this, I followed the recipe exactly, but had no luck with my chia seeds "fluffing." The next day all I had was still just chia soup. I let it sit another 12 hours, but still no "fluffing."

I also used a dry measuring cup to measure the 1/2 cup water as someone suggested, don't know if that made a difference.

Made these this morning and they came out perfectly. I followed one of the reviewer's suggestion and used 1 1/2 c. coconut and increased cardamom to 1/2 t. and they came out beautifully - just like the picture! They are very crumbly at first, I think perhaps those who had trouble with this recipe did not let it sit the required amount of time before...

These cookies were fantastic! I tried half of the batch with the chocolate chips and half just plain rosemary, and I used the fresh rosemary I had on hand instead of dried. Both the plain rosemary and the chip-filled versions were delicious. From the comments it also looks like this recipe is pretty versatile, I look forward to trying other combinations...

I gave this a 4 because of the incredible ease of this recipe, but taste wise, I would say a bit below that. It is VERY sweet, almost sickeningly so. I would maybe try again with darker chocolate next time, I think that would work more with the peppermint. I think the concept is sound, just needs some tweaking.""

This was a huge hit at the family picnic yesterday. I used some very inexpensive pinot grigio, and found a small sample bottle of elderflower liquor at the liquor store that was just the right amount for the recipe. This was very refreshing and delicious. Perfect for summer and has almost a peachy flavor. Will definitely make again this summer!"
