Reviewed Chocolate Cheesecake Candy Cane Bars

Dec 1, 2013 on

So delicious and easy! Cooked these bars for 30 min and the center had a cheesecake consistency/flavor (without adding extra cream cheese or flour). I topped it with a ganache (bittersweet chocolate + sugar + whipping cream) since many people were saying the recipe topping was too hard. I had no problems cutting through these bars- cold or room temp....

This recipe was very tasty and easy to prepare. We did not make the taco shells in an effort - to cut calories (I used hard shells from the store). I think I will add extra spices the next time as we'd like a little more flavor. This is a great alternative to packaged taco seasoning, without all the chemicals. "

These had great flavor but they were a bit dry. I will definitely double the sauce in the future as I like my enchiladas saucy. I made these with corn tortillas which added to the flavor and texture."

This sandwich is so good! It's a nice change from the regular old sandwich and looks amazing when cut into. I did not use the mortadella because I read that it tastes similar to baloney (which I don't like) so I added extra ham and salami. I splurged and bought high quality meats and cheese and it was worth it. ""

We LOVED this recipe! Each bite was so flavorful yet not so much that you got sick of it after a while. I could only find the 10oz box of couscous so I increased some of the other ingredients (oil, lemon, orange, curry, sugar and salt). I left the nuts, cranberries, chives, and parsley pretty much how the recipe called for and it was the perfect ...

Yum! This was so good and a nice change from potatoes or rice. I served it with a rich sweet pork dish and its mild (but delicious!) flavor added nice balance. It was very easy to make though I had to cook it on low most of the time since the "high" on my crockpot seemed to be way too hot. Also, I will probably increase the amounts next time as t...

We really liked this recipe. It is a great combination of flavors without being too rich/heavy. I forgot to save the pasta liquid but didn't end up really needing much extra liquid because there was quite a bit of olive oil to add moisture to the pasta. We will definately make again."

This one of our absolute favorites! My fiance would be happy if this salad were always in the fridge and it's always a hit at parties. It is so unique and refreshing. The only thing I've changed is that I use spinach instead of arugala and I add extra pine nuts, cherries, and cheese! I had never tried ricotta salata before this salad but I really "
