I followed this recipe to the T but I was disappointed with how it turned out. I found the red cabbage was still pretty crunchy and did not soften very much, which I thought would happen. Also, the flavors were just OK. ""

I made this yesterday for my Thanksgiving dinner, which was my first cooking. I was alone but I wanted to expand my cooking experience. This bread was the biggest highlight of all of the dishes I made, which I know sounds sad, but this is so, so, so, yummy!""

I have made this twice, by accident. I found the flavor of the Romano cheese way, way, too strong. Also, even though I cooked the anchovy paste for plenty of time, it was still too strong. I think jarred anchovies would have been been since they truly melt in olive oil.""

I made this and it came out bad. I was trying to find a spicy jalapeno cornbread and there were too many jalapeno's and they did not cook with the allotted time. Still trying to find a better recipe.""

Sep 25, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I just made this and it was fabulous! OMG! I had a little trouble poaching the chicken because I kept checking the temperature, but once I put them into the gravy it was so delicious! I know this was very lemony but that may have been because you reduced the gravy a bit too much. I highly suggest that you taste the gravy before you add it to ...

Apr 22, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I made this last night, following all the instructions. I agree with the comments about Rosemary. The next time I use this, I wil only use it if I chop it up so that it does not feel like I am eating grass.

Also, although I used a decent bottle of wine, the meat has a strong tangy taste to it, which I am not enjoying in a beef...

This was my first time making chicken stock and it was both easy and delicious! Thank you Chef Anne for giving me permission to throw the chicken we use in the trash! I only eat chicken breast so I have avoided make stock before, but now I know I can buy a 2 lb bag of chicken parts and make the stock!
