My Activity

Reviewed Cranberry Mulled Wine

"I took a few shortcuts with this one~skipped the anise entirely as I couldn't find star anise (live in a small town in Tennessee, what can you do?!? and substituted ground spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, and pumpkin pie spice for the cinnamon stick~but never mind as this stuff is DELICIOUS and ADDICTIVE!!! Sipping a mug now as I watch the snow come down outside. Perfect!

I also used the little bit that was left as the base for my homemade Christmas cranberry and *what* an incredible flavor it had.

Reviewed Hot Corn Dip with Crispy Tortilla Chips

"I've got this dip in the oven now, have been making it for about three years and it is FANTASTIC! I have always used canned corn and I stirred in a little cream cheese this time as well, but this dip comes out wonderful every time. Perfect for cold weather, snow is coming down outside right now and I have been fantasizing about this dip all day!
