It had been a long time since I had had Chicken Cordon Bleu and I am an amateur cook; so, I was very leery of cooking this myself. Let's just say my own Mom, who is a great cook, was asking me to cook it again. It was absolutely great! I do think it was easier to make with slices of Gruyere though than the shredded.
