This is WAY too garlicky, and I love garlic. But when I want tomato soup, I want to taste tomato, not overpowering garlic. I cooked over medium heat with milk, whisking almost constantly and otherwise it was great. So, cut the garlic, stir often, and enjoy. Tweak to your liking by adding basil or whatnot if you want!"
