Replied to Perfect Pot Roast

The recipe calls for wine or BEEF stock not chicken...makes a very big difference!

I think the key to these turning out so good is first use a MINI muffin pan NOT a traditional pan. When I first read the recipe I over looked that and almost made the mistake of using a regular muffin pan. These are biscuts NOT muffins, so the title is misleading but they are still awesome. Second do no over mix. Like Jupsych said, fold the flour "

Part 2: The Prime Rib came out perfect! The timing was just right for a 10 lb. roast Although when we came back from church the internal temperature was at 130. I turned the oven back on for about 45 minutes until the temp went to 140 perfect for medium rare wtih the outer areas at medium. Husband loved it. Best prime rib recipe I've tried and it "

I have been roasting Prime Ribs for years but decided to try this recipe because my husband and I will be celebrating our Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve (heading to his sister's place on Christmas Day) and right in the middle of the time I would do our roast our church was holding it's Christmas Eve service (4:30pm). I'm just settling down to watch the Coca-Cola 600 Nascar race after spending the day making this dish on this Memorial Day Sunday. Talk about the perfect compliment to some great ribs and lots of white wine.....but seriously, this was an awesome dish. I have been baking these cookies for Christmas since I was a little girl and my mom found them in her original Better Homes and Garden cookbook. When the new cookbook came out, my mom threw the old one out thinking all the same recipes would be there...but they weren't including this one! I searched for years looking for it and finally found the ...

Good recipe for a base, but so many modifications by so many people that the recipe is almost unrecognizable. I used a cup of orange juice along with the zest of one orange and used organic blue agave instead of sugar. After taking the sauce off the heat, I added the two cinnamon sticks. Refrigerate over night and removed the cinnamon sticks befor"

Awesome recipe! To make perfect eggs, use a 12 slot muffin pan to place each egg. Put in oven at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven and place eggs in large bowl of ice water (have some ice cubes in the water) just long enough to cool them down so you can peel them. The eggs will peel easier and they will actually taste better. This me"

I've had a lot of gumbo in my life especially living most of my life in Houston where so many people from Louisiana have moved in the late 70's and this was the best! Many say to brown the sausage first and pour off the oil..I disagree! Most of the flavor is in the fat, that is why this recipe doesn't have you skim off the fat until AFTER the gumb"
