Didn't have cardamom and had to cook the sauce longer than called for to brown.Does thicken up after it cools and more of a praline frosting than smooth carmel but good anyway! This was very good and definately tasted like a steak dinner only lighter. I served it with crescent rolls to make it a little more filling. Omited the tomatoes and green onions and used prepackaged romain salad and a NY strip streak.Wish the recipe made more dressing-only had enough for 3 salads.Didn't have garlic powder so used garlic salt and...
