I made it for dessert for our Super Bowl evening, and it will now be our tradional Super Bowl dessert, after the wings and sliders! Giada, you nailed the combination of flavors and textures. So easy, it can be made last minute. We loved it.

I don't think I will ever make traditional lasagna again. The plating is much more elegant than a runny piece of lasagna. The taste was wonderful. In a pinch, you could easily skip the bechamel, and use marinara. One caution - Giada calls for a glass baking dish, to bake at 450. If you use Pyrex, it will shatter above 400 degrees. I learned...
