Reviewed Easy Chocolate Chip Cake

Nov 19, 2012 in null on Food.com

This is excellent. I made it last minute for a friends birthday because I had all the ingredients on hand. Made it exactly per the recipe and it turned out perfect. Super moist and chocolatey, but not too heavy like a brownie. I can't really describe why it's so good...it's almost like the best giant chocolate chocolate chip muffin you ever had. ...

This is *SO* good. It was great as a spread/dip served at room temp with pita. However, we also used it warm, with brie, on toasted baguette, and later on a sandwich with fontina cheese and baked tofu. Both were so, so excellent. I definitely added some cayenne pepper to the recipe and will cut down the oil a bit next time. Otherwise, perfection....

Reviewed Grilled Herbed Tofu with Avocado Cream

Loved it. However, next time I might bake the tofu a bit before grilling it, so it's firmer. The sauce is excellent. My husband and I think this is great as a vegetarian appetizer.""

Agree with the others--creamy goodness and I love the taste of the goat cheese and the garlic. But too much garlic. My husband unfortunately did not read the comments and made the sauce as per the recipe. Even though I absolutely loved it (and I LOVE garlic) my mouth is now on fire. I'm sure one big clove or two small ones would suffice.""

This was absolutely unbelievable. My husband and I followed the recipe exactly and it came out wonderfully--we both loved it. It wasn't too salty; the currents gave it that perfect sweet after taste (we did use low sodium vegetable broth). We cook risotto fairly regularly so we are familiar with the process, but we had never used farro before. It...

This. Was. AMAZING. Seriously. Served it with veracruz-style tilapia and it was the perfect compliment. So easy, so perfect. What a wonderful summer salad."

The sauce was just excellent...but you couldn't taste the fish at all. I don't really like fish so this wasn't too big a deal for me. My husband wished I went a little easier on the sauce or tried it with a more flavorful fish (I used tilapia). Still new at working with fish so I may try it again, but will probably use less of the sauce and maybe "

This was honestly the BEST, prettiest, easiest dessert. I made it for a large dinner party and everyone absolutely loved it. Seriously, I like to bake, but this ridiculously easy recipe got raves like never before. I made the sauce a little different; didn't have framboise so used chambord. It was obviously still delectable. As far as the fromage "
