Reviewed Naan: Indian Oven-Baked Flat Bread

"Definitely try this! The dough is very sticky, but it's supposed to be that way. I just stirred the mixture together with a wooden spoon instead of my hands. I also added a tsp garlic powder and paprika to the flour before mixing in wet ingredients. I did not use a rolling pin because it would stick, so I just tapped it out with my fingers and don"

Reviewed Zucchini Bread

"So I'm giving this 4 stars because I love it as a base recipe, because I changed it up a bit so I could hide some nutrients in it for my kiddos. I just used 1 c. sugar, 1 tbs. agave nectar, and 2 tbs. Viktor pure honey (sugar subst. calories went from 2,325 to 963) Did use Canola oil and 1tsp. vanilla as well. I also used 2 c. whole wheat flour wi"

Reviewed French Toast with Berry Butters

"Great french toast! I used a loaf of Artisan bread, and it turned out so moist using the egg yolks. I did though add a couple tbs of powdered sugar to the berry butter and it tasted much better since the berries I bought were a little tangy. I made Paula's brown sugar bacon to go with it. Perfect for anytime of the day! "

Reviewed Red Velvet Sheet Cake with Classic Red Velvet Frosting

"Oh wow! I just can't say enough about this cake! The cake will only turn out dry if you overbake it, and I baked mine 17 minutes and it was done. I then stuck it in the freezer until cold. The icing is the absolute best and I will never use another recipe. (I used 2% milk in the icing and whole milk plus tsp vinegar to make "buttermilk" in the cak"

Reviewed Easy Caramel Sauce

"Awesome! I didn't have half n half so I doubled the recipe and used 1/2 cup heavy cream and 1/2 cup 2% milk instead. It turned out so great, and it was absolutely fabulous on the flat apple pie."

Reviewed Mega Egga Macaroni Salad

"Wow! This is the BEST macaroni salad ever!! I will never buy that store bought crap again. I halved the recipe and used a couple dashes of tapatio, and added the full amount of Worcestershire. I cooked my noodles to al dente and seasoned the pasta water with salt so I didn't add that much salt to the final product. You have to give this a try! Tak""

Reviewed Mama's Pound Cake

"This pound cake is delicious and so very moist! I only used 1 1/2 cups of sugar, and I made small bundt cakes (12 in all), which I filled about 2/3 of the way full and baked for about 22-25 minutes, and be sure to spray the mini bundt pans with lots of butter spray. I took these to a friend and made a strawberry sauce and homemade whipped cream to""
